Project 116 at Earth Day New York
Bryan's been co-teaching another Citizen Schools apprenticeship with Project 116 this semester, and their WOW! is coming up soon. The students designed tee shirts with environmental messages. They will participate in the Earth Day New York Fair at Grand Central Station on April 24 and 25th in which they will promote and sell the winning designs. |

Toyo Ito: A Conversation on Japanese Architecture
As part of UC Berkeley's Center for Japanese Studies' 50th Anniversary special event series, they welcome architect Toyo Ito on April 11. He will be sharing his thoughts on Japanese Architecture. Ito had been selected to design a new facility for the BAM/PFA.

YALE UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY EXHIBITIONS
Yale University Art Gallery is presenting its first Tea exhibition Tea of Japan: Chanoyu Past and Present until April 26. This exhibition shows the evolution if Japanese tea services–chanoyu. Over 100 implements will be presented from Chashitsu, Mizuya, Machiai, all different kinds of Shoin. Mr. Sen So-oku, the fifteenth-generation heir to the Mushanokoji Senke tea lineage, is one a guest speaker.
