Home is Art
On September 3, Point Kuroda Seitaro officially opened. We are very proud of this as we worked closely with HP Gallery and Mr. Kuroda himself to develop the space. It is the artist's new studio space featuring his latest works. One of the most influential artists of modern Japan since the late 60's, Seitaro Kuroda has been featured in galleries and museums worldwide while his illustrations and designs have graced all mediums including magazines, CD covers, interiors, logos, and posters. |

Homecookin'
In honor of our love for food, we've begun taking turns to make lunch for each other one day a week. It'd give us all a chance to make our staple dishes for each other or try something completely new! Bryan cooked the first week, and Jen raised the bar when she cooked this past week. We'll also be sharing the recipes with you in our kitchen. |

Our good friends Sampei and Akira of MVP are helping produce Feast of Moonlight Night - a night of music and the autumn moon. It is being held ar one of the most beautiful shrines in Kyoto - Heian jingu Shrine. This festival will happen 9/20-2/21. |

Home is Expression
From September 9th to 15th, Destination Art Space, a gallery within an upscale boutique merging fashion and art, is thrilled to present a five-day Art + Fashion exhibition. This exhibition is a collaboration with Japanese artist Naoki Takenouchi, who expresses his artistic vision on paper, and Japanese fashion brand Quantize, who creates artistic, haute couture dresses. |
