Get a Project 116 Tote Bag

Since early October and over 11 weeks, Bryan's been volunteering once a week teaching an apprenticeship called Project 116 for Citizen Schools with From Scratch owner Shien-ru Tsao. The group of talented students from Isaac Newton Middle School in East Harlem, learned how to design, develop and market a product -- in this case eco-friendly totes! Check them out and get one of your own now! Portion of proceeds will be given back to Citizen Schools.

Yuichi Higashionna's Comme des Garcons Installation

Comme des Garcons is exhibiting Japanese artist Yuichi Higashionna new installation Rings. He experiments with different mediums and questions the optical experience. His installation runs until the end of this year.

“My work frequently incorporates common, everyday things. Many of these things are what we call fanshii in Japanese. Fanshii things are said to be odd (in that they are neither Western nor Japanese), kitsch, girlish and tacky.”
